Opening ceremony with 41 countries

41 countries were welcomed to the 17th European Veterans Athletic Championships in Nyíregyháza by the Lord Mayor of the City Mrs Judith Csabal during the opening ceremony on the central market place.
3126 athletes joined the invitation of the Hungarian Federation to take part in the championships.
The stadiums are ready, the judges are prepared, and the LOC team is in the starting position to take off.
