(vl) EVAA's annual general Assembly took place 20.7.2010 in Campus area of Nyíregyháza. 79 official delegates and 5 Council members took part in. As a quest there were from WMA president Stan Perkins, Brian Keavenney, Winston Thomas, Fransesco De Feo and Selma Turkal. EVAA life time honorary member Wilhelm Köster was present, too. Also representatives from coming championships participated to the meeting.

Torsten Carlius Fair Play Award

EVAA president Dieter Massin awarded this symbol of fair play to the chief
of competition Hannu Nurminen, Finland from the work what he did last year
in Lahti in WMA world championships. In thanking words Hannu Nurminen said
that this is great honour not only for himself, it is honour also for all
volunteeres of our championships.

New vice-president

In the election of vice-president were 5 candidates. Candidates from Greece
and Finland withdrawed so there were left 3 candidates. After two election
rounds candidate from Poland won and Jerzy Krauze is new vice-president of
EVAA. He won last election against Martin Roald Arbol by votes 46-37.

Izmir 2014

General Assembly gave 19th European Championships in 2014 to Izmir,
Turkey. In the last election there were no other candidates. Izmir is
providing excellent two stadium facilities and well educated organisation.
