The third day of WMACI the walkers started to compete; one of the best competition the spectators saw in the 3000 m track walk. From the beginning on John Hall (GBR) and Ludwig Niestelberger (AUT) walked side by side, lap by lap. 300 m before the end the Austrain has had more reserves than the British and finished first.
