For the seventh time the European Veterans Athletic Association (EVAA) has honoured the best veterans of the year and the winner of the Torsten-Carlius-Fair-Play-Award.
Rome was the scene of these ceremonies. The Italian federation FIDAL used this podium to honour its best veterans of the year.

EVAA President Dieter Massin and FIDAL Vicepresident Alberto Morini welcomed the distinguished guests and members of the associations and highlighted the importance of veterans' sport in Europe and in Italy as well.
